Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has organized a online guest lecture on the topic “ASIC Front End Design and Verification” for third and final year students on 04.09.2023. The Resource person was Mr.E.Reniflal, Control Software Project Lead, TMC, Belgium.The event was organized by Convenor Dr.C.Nirmala, Head and Co-Convenor Mrs.R.M.Thamilselvi, ASP/ECE, Mrs.L.Sujitha, AP/ECE was the Staff Co-ordinator of the event. The session started with welcome address by Ms.V.Kalaivani-III year Electronics and Communication Engineering and briefed the profile of the speaker followed by presidential address given by Principal sir Dr.M.Premkumar in which he encouraged the students to equip their knowledge to do project in this VLSI domain through this event.
The resource person described the concepts of logic design and verification techniques of ASIC Front End Design then emphasized with placement opportunities in the area of VLSI Design at different industries in India and abroad then concluded by answering the queries of students. A total of 65 students attended the online guest lecture that was a thought provoking session. Finally vote of thanks was delivered by Mr.M.Vimala, IV year Electronics and Communication Engineering.
