Tribute to people’s President, Dr.A.P.J Abdul kalam’s on his Third year Remembrance was conducted at Assembly hall of Pavai College of Technology on 27th July 2018. The occasion started with a remarkable note by our Principal who gave a “Brief Biography of Missile man of India” and he concluded his talk by rightly pointing out the importance of students in shaping our nation with a quote that “The youth need to be enabled to become job generators and not seekers”. Also he declared that his Remembrance day would be celebrated as “CLEAN AND GREEN DAY OF PAAVAI”. On this day Faculty members and students remembered Missile Man who dedicated his entire life for development of nation as a Teacher, Scientist & President of India. Many of our students and faculty members shared their valuable thoughts about Dr.APJ. One of our faculty Mrs. P.T.Tresa, ASP/English briefed on his Awards, achievements and struggles faced by the Man behind “Wings of Fire”. One of our student of final EEE A.Thilagavathan, strongly emphasized that “Birth can be an Incident but death must leave history behind”, In addition to this, S. Sudharshan of II CSE expressed that his Sad Demise could be a dream and not true. Also S.Ramya of IV ECE rightly claimed that Abdul Kalam is Pride to our Nation and assured that as youth we would definitely come out in flying colors. The occasion came to an end with students taking pledge that it is our responsibility to give tribute to People’s President a Great Legend and fulfill his dream of “Vision 2020” , that he had for our nation.
