Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has organized a online guest lecture on the topic “Machine Learning Techniques for Wind power Forecasting in Wind Energy Systems” for third and final year students on 23.01.2024. The Resource person was Dr.KARTHICK, Associate Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronics ion Engineering ,GMR Institute of Technology, Rajam,Andrapradesh..The event was organized by Convenors Dr.C.Nirmala, Head and Mrs.R.M.Thamilselvi, ASP/ECE, Staff Co-ordinators of the event were Ms.A.P.nehaashree,AP/ECE and Mrs.L.Sujitha, AP/ECE. The session started with welcome address by Ms.V.Kalaivani-III year Electronics and Communication Engineering and S.V.H-arishree, III year Electronics and Communication Engineering briefed the profile of the speaker. The resource person described the concepts of Machine Learning Techniques for Wind power forecasting in Wind Energy Systems and motivated the students with project ideas then concluded by answering the queries of students. A total of 85 students attended the online guest lecture that was a thought provoking session. Finally vote of thanks was delivered by Mr.V.Barath, III year Electronics and Communication Engineering.
