Our department have MoU with “TVS-Harita and The Salem Aeropark” for conducting practical oriented training in Mechanical Engineering.We have been received Rs 8.3 Lakhs worth of funds for conducting workshop and training program from CSIR,ICMR& PMKVY schemes…The department has highly experienced faculty members with good academic record.All the faculty members of the department are certified for BEC by University of Cambridge.The department laboratories are equipped with highly sophisticated equipment with high speed Internet facility.The Department is known for its extensive and fruitful interaction with the Industries and other R&D organizations.The department is ranked in all India level in CII-AICTE survey of industry linked technical institutions.
Additional training is imparted to students on Personality Development and other soft-skills relevant to industry needs.Our department also plays an active role in conducting value added course such as in the latest technologies such as Windows Phone 8, Windows Azure, Cloud computing and certificate courses such as Basic C, C++, Creo2.0,,Solidworks 2017,Ansys,EdgeCAM,CNC Turn and Mill software’s.Students have self-learning environment by utilizing IIT-Bombay, NPTEL videos by the professors of IIT, Academic videos by foreign expert members etc.,To get practical knowledge, to be aware of company expectations and to gain confidence, all our students are undergoing internship training in different renowned industries.
