Mr. P. Kalimuthu is currently working as Associate Professor and Head of Civil Engineering Department, Pavai College of Technology, Namakkal. He has a rich experience of 14 years in the field of technical education. He has completed his B.E., degree in Civil Engineering from Raja college of Engineering & Technology, Madurai and obtained his M.E., degree in Structural Engineering from Tamilnadu College of Engineering, Coimbatore. He is pursuing Ph.D under Anna University. He has published 2 international journals, 6 international conferences and 6 national conferences. He has received funds from funding agencies like ISTE-SRM, CSIR, AICTE, MHRD-IIT Bombay & TNSCST for projects and seminars.
He has organized various technical symposia, workshops and FDPs as a coordinator for the faculty members and students. He has registered two patent to his credit. He is a life member of ISTE. He has acted as a jury for various national level technical symposiums. He has also delivered guest lecturers across various Engineering colleges and Polytechnic Colleges on Pavement Engineering, Recent Trends in Civil Engineering and Total Station.
