WIPRO MISSION 10X TECHNOLOGY LEARNING CENTER (MTLC)

Mission10X workshop was conducted by Wipro Ltd. at Paavai Campus during 14^th to 18^th Feb 2011, which kick started the association of Paavai Institutions and Wipro Ltd. 33 Paavai Faculty successfully completed this training program and started practicing these learning’s in their Classroom sessions to Paavai Students. Advanced Training was given to 27 of these Faculties for 3 days during April 2011.

Due to its active participation and making use of Mission10X Workshops’ learning’s, Wipro Mission10X decided to set up jointly Mission10X Technology Learning Center (MTLC), Paavai was recognized to set up MTLC on its campus – after a due validation of the facilities and faculty by a high power Team of Wipro Ltd. Paavai’s MTLC was inaugurated on 21^st July, 2012 by Mr. P.B.Kotur, Head – Mission10X, Wipro Ltd.

Paavai Students are getting immensely benefited through MTLC learning in doing embedded systems projects. The learning and technology enrichment @ MTLC for Paavai Students and Faculty is an ongoing story and it continues…. 

PAAVAI SOFT INNOVATION CENTER

 Paavai Institutions Journey with Microsoft India started in December, 2010.  On 29^th Sept, 2012 presented ideas to to a team of Software Professionals from Corporates like IBM, Ericsson, TCS, Mahindra Satyam, L&T InfoTech, Easun Reyrolle and renowned Independent Consultants and 30 of them got shortlisted for taking them further as projects using Microsoft Products. On 6^th Dec, 2012. Paavai’s sustained good work earned the status of Microsoft Innovation Center and the MOU was signed & exchanged between Mr. Joseph Landes, General Manager – DPE, Microsoft, India and Chairman, Paavai Institutions. During the India MIC Summit held at Bangalore on 18^th March 2013, Paavai MIC was awarded and recognized for its exemplary effort.

Now it continues as Paavai soft innovation center. 

INFOSYS CAMPUS CONNECT

Infosys’ Campus Connect (CC) is a first of its kind Industry – Academia interaction program. Campus Connect aims to be a forum where some of the best practices at Infosys get shared with partnering colleges. Campus Connect looks at aligning the needs of partner colleges, its faculty and students, with those of the IT industry.

Recognition

Paavai’s Good work in the Campus Connect Programs of Paavai Engineering Colleges was bestowed the status of Advanced Academic Partner in their CC Programs.

Principals’ Meet was held on 9^th March 2012 at Infosys Bangalore Development Centre.

Outstanding Contribution

During the Principals’ Meet held at Infosys’ Bangalore Development Centre, on 30th March 2016, Paavai Engineering College got an additional recognition from Campus Connect Team as one among the Top 3 Institutions (under Bangalore DC) for outstanding contribution in rolling out Infosys CC Offering – FOUNDATION PROGRAM during 2015.
