Department Achievements:
· Our department has MoU with “Federation of All Civil Engineering Association in Tamilnadu” for conducting field oriented training in civil engineering.
· During semester holidays our department plays active role in conducting value added course such as StaadPro., Autocad, Archi-Cad and Vaastu in Civil Engineering Structures etc…
· As of now, our department has produced 5 university rank holders in the Anna University examinations
· All the faculty members of the department are certified for BEC by University of Cambridge.
· Civil engineering department is committed to develop consultancy for various industries
· From civil engineering department, 44 students were placed in various companies in the previous academic year.
· The department laboratories are equipped with highly sophisticated equipment with high speed Internet facility and centralized air condition.
· Students have self-learning environment by utilizing IIT-Bombay, NPTEL videos by the professors of IIT, Academic videos by foreign expert members etc.,
· The department faculties are having experience with Industry collaborative initiative with Industry.
· All the students are taken to survey camp on every academic year at various hill stations to become aware of the field measurements.
· The department has highly experienced faculty members with good academic record.
· All the faculty members are attending the training programs periodically organized by Wipro Technologies.
